Daily maintenance of a three-cylinder dryer is an important factor in improving material drying efficiency, and also the key for ensuring long-term stable production. Thus, what procedures should be taken for daily maintenance of a three-cylinder dryer?

  1. Before feeding a three-cylinder dryer, a strict inspection on raw materials shall be performed to prevent straws, metallic impurities and other foreign matters from entering into the dryer. Use of a screening machine to rough materials is recommended at the time of feeding, thus ensuring a good flowability of materials within the dryer, and preventing the occurrence of clogging or uneven drying in the drying process.

  2. When a three-cylinder dryer is fully loaded, its buzzer will give a warning, but the dryer will not stop the feeding automatically. At this moment, the operator shall press the stop button in a timely manner to prevent overloading of materials that may cause production malfunctions.

  3. Fuel of a three-cylinder dryer shall be regularly deposited, filtered and purified to prevent impurities and dirts in the fuel, which, if ignored for a long period of time, may cause clogging of the fuel spray nozzle, thus resulting in oil leakage, spilling, etc.

  4. To ensure stable voltage in the drying process, do not make an unauthorized change to circuit system of a three-cylinder dryer. The instability of voltage will not only affect normal operation of the dryer and cause a reduction of drying efficiency and quality, but damage the equipment seriously. Also, stable voltage and a reasonable circuit system are also an important condition for stable production of the dryer.

  5. Exhaust duct of a three-cylinder dryer shall be unfolded and straightened. After drying operation for a certain period of time, the duct shall be cleaned to prevent any impact on ventilation effect.

6. After the completion of drying operation or when the equipment is not used, timely cleaning shall be conducted to remove residues from the equipment. Meanwhile, in order to ensure smooth operation of next drying job, lubrication and maintenance shall be carried out regularly on the dryer.
